Simmons to Exclusively Serve Healthy Menu

Farewell Chicken Cosmo!
On April 4, all dining commons at Penn State University Park will be serving the chicken cosmo sandwich for the last time. After 26 years of popularity with students, staff, and alumni, the chicken is heading south. Pierce Chicken Products will no longer be producing the product, despite the fact that Penn State purchases over 274,000 chicken cosmo cutlets a year. Possible replacements will be tested this summer, but the cosmo will surely be missed.

Cosmo Essay and Video Contest
In celebration of the chicken cosmo’s final days, Food Services wants to hear your favorite cosmo stories or memories for the Cosmo Essay and Video Contest. Students and alumni are encouraged to send us their favorite chicken cosmo tales.

Summer Employment Openings in Pollock Dining Commons
Do you need a summer job during Summer Session II (June 22 - August 15, 2008)? Apply to work in Pollock Dining Commons. You can work up to 40 hours a week at $7.75 an hour and enjoy flexible scheduling, free uniforms, paid training, and discounted meals. Kosher Passover Meal Registration
In April, during Passover week, kosher lunches and dinners are available to students, faculty, and staff at the Waring Dining Commons in West Halls. All food is orthodox kosher certified. Meals can be purchased with the A-La Board meal plan, as well as cash and LionCash+. Visit the Food Services kosher Web site for more information.
